This massive factory-looking place is where we get most of our packaging printed. This morning I had a press check for something NEW we’ve been working on…

The press check is my last chance to make any adjustments to color or placement before committing to the entire run.

I’ve never seen a line as long as the one at the 1st LA Street Food Fest this past Saturday.

Nance and I stood in line for 2 hours before calling it quits. Apparently, they had reached capacity and we were still a good oh 1-2 hours out.

It wasn’t a total bust though, after what felt like weeks of straight rain, the sun was finally shining again in LA and it was good times hanging out with friends. It felt like Summer.

On Monday, me, Nance and Bonita hopped in the ride and headed up north to beautiful Santa Barbara. Although we only had a couple days to spend, nothing felt rushed and everything just seemed to fall into place. I know Bonita was happy.


It was her first time on the beach and off-leash around other dogs. She not only was well behaved, but also very social & outgoing. We were so proud of her

It rained on Wednesday, so we hit the Camarillo shopping outlets. Didn’t see sh*t at the Nike store (grr!) BUT I did score these at the Vans store.

I was already imagining rockin’ them next Summer down by the beach…all-black wayfarers, a fresh tee, and a pair of Dickies cutoffs.

While waiting for Nance to finish up her shopping, I caught up on some reading. I’ve always liked Acclaim mag. The layout and overall aesthetic consistently looks great. One of them feel good mags!

Anyhow, with 2010 just around the corner, I couldn’t help but to reflect on the year. 2009’s been pretty crazy right? I sure learned a lot that’s for sure.

The one word that best sums up my overall feeling for ’09 (besides crazy) is grateful. I’m just grateful for everything and everyone in my life – plain & simple. 2010 is going to be great, you’ll see.

Btw, next month not only marks the beginning of a new year, but also JM’s 3rd Year Anniversary!!! I wanted to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your support of JM…it is truly appreciated! I look forward to continuing to provide you with better sneaker products & accessories for years to come!

We teamed up with adidas to create these special promo kits as part of their global Five Two 3 campaign. Since word of this project started to make its way around the blogosphere, we’ve been getting hit up with all kinds questions of When? Where? and How? to get it.

Earlier this year, our beloved 15-month old pit, Santi, passed away of malignant histiocytoma, an aggressive cancer. For those of you who know us personally, you know that this was absolutely devastating for us. Santi was family.

Almost 7 months later, although Santi will always have a special place in our hearts, we’ve decided it was time to get a new pup…
