Operating with Purpose
Jason Markk is committed to reducing our environmental footprint while delivering family-safe, comprehensive care solutions that simplify and elevate everyday routines. In practical terms, this means:
-
Eliminating Single Use Plastics
Jason Markk is committed to eliminating single-use plastics — items designed to be used once and discarded, such as bags, straws, and certain packaging — as well as reducing plastic waste that ends up in landfills and oceans. We are actively transitioning to reusable and refillable packaging systems to promote more sustainable consumption and minimize our environmental impact.
-
Removing Forever Chemicals
Jason Markk has removed VOCs, PFAS, PFCs, and PFOA from our product formulations. These substances are known for their environmental persistence and potential health risks, and their elimination reflects our dedication to safer, more environmentally responsible chemistry. Additionally, many of our products meet recognized environmental standards, including Certified Biodegradable, EPA Safer Choice and USDA Certified Biobased.
-
Responsible Sourcing
Responsible sourcing guides every step of our process. We prioritize local partnerships and Made in the U.S.A. manufacturing to reduce transportation emissions and uphold strict quality standards. We are phasing out single-use plastics, transitioning to reusable and refillable packaging, and utilizing eco-friendly label technology for easy removal to encourage proper recycling. These efforts reflect our commitment to a more sustainable and circular future.
